UAB School of Nursing introduces Dual Option Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program

You can be certified as Primary Care PNP Account Care PNP AND earn six(6) hours of DNP coursework and have Early Admission into the DNP program at UAB.

The new Dual Option PNP to DNP became available Fall 2011. The program is 63 credits and full and part time enrollment is available. This is a distance accessible program. Didactic courses are offered online with 2-3 day intensive visits to the campus required during clinical courses. All other clinical requirements may be completed near the student's home if preceptors are available.
